The Vancouver Asian Film Festival was really interesting. My breakups into a million pieces (which is also showitn at Rat Powered Films today) got interesting comments. One thing that struck me at the panel: writer Rita Wong said, “Diversity is a word that is used so we can be comfortable and not talk about race.”
